For most things, “new” means “no problems.” A new car rarely breaks down. A new coffee maker makes a great cup of joe. However, in new home construction, human error can occur and mistakes can (and do!) happen. Recently we completed a new home inspection. Utilizing thermography, we detected a large section of wall that did not have insulation (see photo). While missing insulation won’t cause the house to fall down, it would be the cause of a chilly room come winter. Brrr!!
